A Backyard Wedding

It was such an honour to be able to help friend and former work colleague Donna transform her backyard into a dreamy dandelion-themed wedding space for her and her fiancé, Craig. 

The brief was to use Donna and Craig's gazebos to create a whimsical space for the ceremony that could be easily transformed into a lounge area afterwards for the reception. The lounge had to include a range of seating options for guests to move between. 

As space was limited, we used bench seating with custom-made covers to reflect the crisp blue, white and green colour scheme. On these we piled cushions for a comfy, welcoming touch.

Torrential rain made set-up a challenge. Just hours before the wedding we were mopping the floors and had towels draped everywhere. But then the sun came out which gave Donna and Craig the relaxed backyard wedding they had dreamed about.
